The Oaks at Boca Raton offers a varied estate-home setting. Choosing a home—or preparing one for sale—calls for a closer look at architecture, homesite, condition and the ownership arrangements attached to the property.

Homes and architectural character

The association describes a 469-home community with Mediterranean, transitional and modern styles. Compare the actual floor plan, bedroom arrangement, ceiling heights, garage capacity and outdoor living space. A shared neighborhood address does not make two homes equivalent.

Community life and amenities

The official community information identifies a clubhouse of approximately 25,000 square feet. Its published facilities include spaces for dining, social gatherings, recreation and wellness. Review current operating arrangements and any additional charges directly with the association.

Tennis and pickleball

The association’s racquets page lists 11 lighted tennis courts and four pickleball courts, together with lessons and organized play. Ask about scheduling, guest access and program costs if racquet sports are part of your plans.

What to compare at the property level

  • Homesite orientation, privacy and the view from primary living spaces.
  • Layout, usable room sizes and indoor-outdoor flow.
  • Documented improvements, maintenance and equipment condition.
  • Pool, patio, landscaping and the work needed before a move.
  • Current competing homes and relevant closed sales.

Questions about ownership

Request current association documents and confirm assessments, application procedures, leasing and pet rules, exterior-project approvals, and any charges associated with amenities. Verify details for the specific property before making plans. School assignments and permitting authority should also be checked by address.

Considering selling your home in The Oaks?

A useful pricing conversation goes beyond neighborhood averages. Your home’s condition, floor plan, improvements, homesite and competing listings all deserve consideration. I help homeowners connect those details with preparation, presentation and a marketing strategy.
