Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show 2026: Where Yachting Meets the Art of Waterfront Living

By Vânia Aquino | SERHANT.

There is something unforgettable about Fort Lauderdale when the waterfront comes alive with beautiful yachts, thoughtful design and people who share a love of life on the water. The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show brings that energy into focus—and offers a compelling introduction to the lifestyle that draws people to this coastal city.

The 67th edition takes place October 28–November 1, 2026. Owned by the Marine Industries Association of South Florida and produced by Informa Markets, FLIBS is recognized by its organizers as the world’s largest in-water boat show.

A city experienced from the water

The show reaches across Bahia Mar Yachting Center, Hall of Fame Marina, Las Olas Marina, Pier Sixty-Six Marina, Superyacht Village at Pier Sixty-Six South and the Broward County Convention Center. Together, these destinations turn a boat-show visit into an opportunity to experience different sides of Fort Lauderdale.

For visitors, the appeal extends beyond the vessels. A day exploring marine design can become an evening discovering the city’s dining, beach atmosphere and waterfront setting. It is easy to understand why a short visit can inspire a larger question: what would everyday life here feel like?

Beautiful design, on board and at home

Yacht design and luxury residential design share an appreciation for proportion, comfort and the relationship between indoor and outdoor spaces. Look at how a seating area frames a view, how materials respond to light, and how a layout makes entertaining feel natural. Those same observations can help you recognize what matters in your next home.

A memorable waterfront property offers more than an attractive photograph. It should support the way you want to spend your time—whether that means a quiet terrace, space for guests, a marina nearby or a private dock suited to your boating plans.

Let the lifestyle guide your home search

If boat-show week has you imagining a home in Fort Lauderdale, begin with the details of your routine. How often would you go boating? Would you prefer a condominium close to dining or a house with outdoor entertaining space? Is keeping your vessel at home essential, or would nearby marina access fit your plans?

My role is to help you turn that vision into a focused property search. We can discuss your preferred setting, the spaces you value most and the practical questions to investigate for each home. The goal is a property that feels right long after the excitement of show week.

Your Fort Lauderdale chapter

The Boat Show is a celebration of exceptional vessels, but its lasting impression may be the city itself. If you are considering buying or selling in Fort Lauderdale, I would love to help you explore what comes next.
